Trump Is the ‘Gazillionaire Class’ Candidate

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean told CNN’s “Newsnight” Thursday that former President Donald Trump is a “billionaire class” candidate.

Anchor Abby Phillip said, “Also this week, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he will choose a running mate. He needs it because it is an important part of the ballot access process. You need a running mate in 2016. I mean, when you look at the list of candidates that includes guys like Aaron Rodgers, who shared Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, and Jesse Ventura, who is an ex. A wrestler who became governor of Minnesota. What goes through your mind when you look at that shortlist?”

Dean said, “I think Bobby Kennedy is a sad case, but he used to do a really good job. I actually went to one of his events about 25 years ago when he was running Riverkeepers. I went and it was great. But something is crazy inside him. I don’t know what it is. I think it’s very sad and his family also I think it’s very sad, and I hope for the sake of Kennedy’s name that he doesn’t do that.”

He added, “I don’t think there’s a limit to the amount of money you can spend in this race. Trump’s got every billionaire in the country, and obviously every time Trump walks around, he’s breathing harder. That’s… Their candidate, the billionaire class. And Biden is a working man who has raised a lot of money on the web from small donations. And that’s how it goes. Bobby Kennedy is a conspiracy theorist. And I think they’re going to vote for Trump. So I just hope he doesn’t run for himself and for this family.”
