Trump: ‘It wouldn’t concern me’ to witness Comey, Brennan getting arrested

Trump: 'Would not bother me' to see Comey, Brennan arrested

Former President Trump stated he wouldn’t mind watching former FBI director James Comey and former CIA director John Brennan get arrested live on television. In an interview with Daily Caller, Trump expressed his belief that their arrests should occur, as part of an investigation concerning Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.

When asked about the situation, Trump commented, “What they did is dishonorable. They lied, they lied, they lied. They’ve done many bad things for the country.” He expressed confusion about whether there is any involvement on his part, but he firmly indicated that those responsible should be held accountable.

Trump was questioned on when he believed these arrests might take place but refrained from naming a timeline. He remarked, “They committed all the crimes – they should be.” His attitude was clear; he supported their arrest given the alleged misconduct.

The interviewer pressed on the specifics regarding Comey and Brennan, to which Trump responded, “I wouldn’t mind at all.”

Moreover, John Ratcliffe, the CIA director, mentioned that Brennan and Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, could potentially face charges in relation to what he termed as misdeeds. Tulsi Gabbard, the National Intelligence director, has also released documents concerning the 2016 election.

Trump’s supporters argue that an Intelligence Report Review aims to undermine his electoral success. However, the latest document release didn’t reach a definitive conclusion about the nature of the 2016 election interference by Russia, which was noted as a broad campaign intended to affect the outcome.
