Trump Jr.: My father has no connection to 'Trump Mobile'

Donald Trump Jr. Clarifies Trump’s Role in New Mobile Venture

On Monday, Donald Trump Jr. emphasized that his father, President Trump, is not involved with Trump Mobile, the new mobile phone service launched by the Trump organization.

“My father wasn’t involved in any of these things,” Trump Jr. told News Nation Now. “And I know we run the Trump organization. We do these things.”

The president’s sons, who managed his business operations while he was in office, announced the mobile venture on the anniversary of Trump’s official campaign kickoff.

Trump Mobile is set to offer a $47 phone plan along with a gold smartphone, a nod to the president’s taste and legacy.

This mobile service is the latest in a line of business initiatives from the Trump family during his current administration, raising questions about whether the president can truly avoid personal gain from his presidency.

In particular, the Trump family is showing growing interest in cryptocurrency.

Last fall, the president and his sons introduced a crypto project called World Liberty Financial. Recently, the digital token played a role in a notable $2 billion deal between Emirati companies and a crypto exchange.

Financial disclosures revealed that Trump has earned approximately $57 million from Liberty Financial globally.

When asked about his father’s involvement in the new mobile venture, Trump Jr. reassured that his father “has owned the title, but he won’t touch it.”

“It’s all walled,” he noted. “Eric and I are the signatories. We control the trust. We don’t inform him about it. He’s not involved in it.”

Additionally, Trump is under scrutiny for a meme coin he introduced just prior to taking office. He recently dined with leading investors in $Trump Token.

Furthermore, the Trump Media & Technology Group, which operates Trump’s Truth Social Platform, is also getting into the cryptocurrency craze, having raised $2.5 billion to establish a Bitcoin reserve and to roll out various crypto-related projects.
