Trump Maintains Two-Point National Lead over Harris

This is the third week in a row that former President Trump has a 2-point lead nationally over incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris, according to Rasmussen Reports' weekly poll.

Mr. Rasmussen conducted a survey of 1,820 likely voters between September 19th and 22nd-25th. Found Trump's approval rating was 48%, while Harris' approval rating was 46%.

“These poll results are largely unchanged from last week, when Mr. Trump held a 49% to 47% lead over Ms. Harris,” the pollster wrote.

Internal polling, which is a large sample size, shows Trump leading Harris among Hispanics, 49 to 42 percent. The former president also has a higher approval rating among black voters, 28 to 66 percent. This should be closer to 15-85% for him.

Trump has a one-point advantage among voters aged 18 to 39 (46 to 45 percent). Among those ages 40 to 64, Trump holds a 4-point lead, 50% to 46%. Seniors 65 and older were evenly divided between the two candidates, 49-49 percent.

The reason the overall gap in support for Trump has not widened is the gender gap. The poll shows Trump leading men by just seven points, 44 to 51 percent. In other polls, the gap is even wider. However, Harris only leads women by 3 points, 49 to 46 percent. Again, other polls show a much wider gender gap, with women supporting Harris.

At RealClearPolitics average poll National polls currently show Harris with a two-point lead, 49.1 to 47.1 percent. His three recent polls, including this Rasmussen poll, have the race tied, Harris +1, or Trump +2.

On the same day in 2016, Hillary Clinton led Trump by 2.3 points nationally. Mr. Trump won this election by a narrow margin.

On the same day in 2020, Joe Biden was leading Trump by 6.9 points nationally. It is reported that Trump lost this election by a narrow margin.

In any case, Kamala is underperforming compared to Hillary and Old Joe. The question that remains is whether pollsters are once again undercounting Trump supporters. But even if that were not the case, today's electoral races are closer than I have ever seen them. The entire race is likely to come down to Pennsylvania, which is currently tied. Of the past seven Pennsylvania polls, 5 people are tied. I've never seen anything like it.

Trump is a good closer. He proved that in 2016 and 2020. Kamala is an idiot, and she proves it every time she opens her mouth…she is backed by billions of dollars in corporate media propaganda.
