President Donald Trump played a recorded message to college football fans who tuned into ESPN to watch the national championship game between Notre Dame and Ohio State on Monday night.
Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States earlier that day. He has previously competed in the national championship as president, but was unable to compete because it was his first day back in the White House. It seemed like he still had the game in mind.

“Hello, great American people. Today is a historic and exciting day for our nation. Our people have suffered so much in recent years, but now we will take America back and make it safer. We're going to make this a prosperous and prosperous country, and I'm prouder than ever,” Trump said.
“We will have a nation full of compassion, strength and exceptionalism. Through our strength and strength, we will stop wars and bring peace to the world. We will once again be respected and , we will put America first, and in doing so, we will make America great again.”

President Trump touted the excitement seen across the country since his victory over former Vice President Kamala Harris. He also gave a message to the players participating in the match.
“Less than three months after the election, you're already seeing it happening. You can feel the excitement and see the confidence and spirit returning to our country. Together, we will take our county to glorious new heights. America's Golden Age is just beginning.
“To all the players and fans watching tonight, we know it's been a long and difficult journey. It's been a long season, but we have two great teams that have come out and fought hard and played fair. Let's fight and get results.'' The better team wins and I'm going to enjoy watching it, thank you and good night. ”
