Joy Behar told the co-hosts of ABC’s “The View” on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump’s mocking of Vice President Kamala Harris’ laughter was “sexist.”
“Ruffin’ Kamala, ruffin’ apostrophe, ruffin’ Kamala,” Trump said at a campaign rally.
Behar said, “But what really pisses me off about him is this laughing Kamala comment. It’s a sexist comment. I had a male friend that I was with over the weekend who said, ‘Kamala’s laugh is irritating.’ Remember when they said Hillary laughed and she was laughing her head off? Men don’t like funny women. They’re scared that if you laugh or tell a joke that might happen to you in bed. It’s like a fear of women laughing and doing comedy.”
“This is very therapeutic,” co-host Sunny Hostin said.
“What on earth is the Washington Monument? It looks a lot like a penis to me,” Behar said.
“You’re looking good today,” co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin said.
“It’s interesting, honestly, that the reason he brings up VP Kamala is because he’s afraid of her. He knows what a strong candidate she is,” Hostin said.
“When he names somebody, you can smell the fear,” Behar said.
