“The election is likely to be a landslide victory, which will reduce uncertainty,” Nick Ferres, chief investment officer at Vantage Point Asset Management, said, according to Reuters.

Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes offered his “deep condolences” to the families of those killed and injured.

“We thank God that President Trump survived the assassination attempt and is now safe,” he said in a statement. “We need a swift and thorough federal investigation to uncover all the circumstances of this despicable attack and to determine whether any others may have been involved.”
President Trump is scheduled to formally accept the Republican presidential nomination at the party’s convention in Milwaukee this week.
