Trump meets everyday Americans at Chick-fil-A while Biden fine dines with Clintons, billionaires in DC

On Wednesday, while former President Trump met with ordinary Americans at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Georgia on the campaign trail, President Biden enjoyed an upscale meal at the White House with the Clintons and other prominent guests. I was having fun.

In Atlanta, Trump met with local residents for an unscripted conversation, treating them to “God’s chicken” and urging them to support his bid for a third presidential bid. More than 500 miles away in Washington, D.C., Biden hosted Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for a state dinner at the White House.

He then took pictures with various customers and asked if everyone had a good time.

“We don’t care what the media says. We support you,” one woman can be heard saying. The former president responded in kind as he hugged the woman, adding: “Please tell my mom I made it.”

President Trump also praised the Chick-fil-A brand, saying, “They’re doing a very good job.” He also joked that he knew the menu better than the employees.

Mr. Trump then instructed his staff that he would distribute them to customers and keep some for his aides.

The videographer then jokingly said, “This is God’s chicken,” and Trump agreed.

“It’s the Lord’s chicken, you’re right,” he said. “Chicken is also delicious.”

The former president and Biden are expected to be certified as the official candidates of their respective parties over the summer ahead of a 2020 rematch in November.
