A day after Rosie O'Donnell announced she had moved to Ireland after President Donald Trump's election, Trump was in the White House oval office joking about his longtime rival.
“Ireland is known for its extremely happy and enjoyable loved ones… why would you move Rosie O'Donnell to Ireland in the world!?” a reporter asks the camera.
“I like that question,” laughs President Trump before asking Ireland's political leader Missial Martin, “Did you know that Rosie O'Donnell exist? Do you know who she is?”
Martin turned to Trump, and then the reporters laughed and relied on him.
“You better not know,” Trump chuckled in the room.
O'Donnell made headlines around the world this week when he announced that he had moved to Ireland in January.
“It was heartbreaking to see things that are both political and difficult for me personally. As we all know, individuals are political,” she said in a video posted to Tiktok.

“Protecting your sanity is all I can say. Protect your sanity as much as possible and try not to swim in mixed chaos if possible. But when you're in the middle of it, I know that it's almost impossible,” O'Donnell said.
“And I think about the United States with everyone every day. And we hope to be able to rely on you, you, all of you, and turn things around to do the right thing. And I think I'm deep inside, we all know what it is.”
President Donald Trump greeted Tao Zich of Ireland's Mycare Martin at the White House on Wednesday. Vice President J.D. Vice President J.D. Vance, whom I met with Martin earlier, was also present.
