On Saturday, President Trump issued a statement praising Rollins' “work to support America's farmers, protect America's food independence, and rebuild America's small towns that rely on agriculture.”

“A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Brooke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development and a Juris Doctor degree with honors,” the announcement said. “From her upbringing in the small agricultural town of Glen Rose, Texas, to her long-time leadership involvement with Future Farmers of America and 4-H, to her family farming background, which has been passed down through the generations, From mentoring children to careers as show cows, Brooke has experience as a practitioner as well as deep policy credentials as a nonprofit and government leader at the state and national level.”

Mr. Rollins served as Director of the Office of National Innovation and Acting Director of the Domestic Policy Council during the Trump administration.

After her tenure in the White House, she co-founded the America First Policy Institute, a think tank dedicated to advancing policies consistent with the administration's agenda.

Rollins issued a statement after the announcement, thanking Trump for the opportunity.
