President Donald Trump on Friday spoke about going to the NCAA Wrestling Championship on Saturday.
Trump told reporters outside the White House that he will be attending the final round of the tournament to head to Philadelphia.
“We're going to go for a big fight. The reason I go is Philadelphia. They have NCAA, world, college wrestling, and I've always supported wrestlers,” Trump said. “So I want to support them. These are great college wrestlers from different schools. I think Pennsylvania is leading and Nebraska is in second place right now.

Outkick co-founder Clay Travis broke news that Trump will be attending the event Tuesday when he said in an X post he would travel “And” President Championship in “Air Force 1”.
The White House confirmed Friday that Trump will be attending the event.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and R. Ohio reportedly joined Trump in Philadelphia.
Jordan himself was a well-known wrestling champion in high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, winning the NCAA Division I Men's Wrestling title twice. He later served as assistant coach of Ohio State's wrestling program from 1987 to 1995.

Senator Dave McCormick (R-Pa.) will also be tagged. McCormick previously confirmed that Trump will be attending the event at the Senator's home. Pennsylvania.

The Wrestling Championship is his first return to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia since 2011, when Pennsylvania took advantage of his hometown to win it all. It launched a dominant run by the Nittany Lions, which are still going. They won eight of the last three titles, eight of the last three titles.
Saturday's victory will mark the third four peat in that stretch.
