Trump on Christie dropping out: ‘I might even get to like him again’

Former President Trump said Wednesday night that he may fall in love with Chris Christie again after the former New Jersey governor withdrew from the Republican primary.

President Trump also promoted Christie's hot mic incident earlier Wednesday in which she said Nikki Haley was “going to go up in smoke” during her campaign with the former president.

Haley's campaign also released the following statement: Christie released a statement after his exit, but did not comment on his remarks.

“Chris Christie has been a friend of mine for many years, and I commend him for the campaign he fought so hard. I have a clear choice: I can fight for every vote and together we can build a strong and proud America,” she said.
