Trump orders end to military aid to Ukraine after contentious White House confrontation

President Donald Trump ordered a temporary suspension of military aid to Ukraine just days after an explosive conflict with Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky at the White House.

The Ukrainian president arrived in Washington, D.C., hoping to sign a minerals agreement to secure more support from the US, but it exploded in his face after a screaming match broke out at their meeting. Trump ended negotiations and took Zelensky's leave without agreement.
