Trump orders proof of citizenship to vote, threatens noncompliant states

President Donald Trump signed Presidential Order On Tuesday, evidence of citizenship demanded that they vote in federal elections and threatened to pull funds from states that don't make efforts to secure elections.

Executive Action scrutinizes the current way of voting in the United States, claiming that “modern developed countries and still developing countries” are deploying systems that curb fraud and abuse. EO noted that India and Brazil have incorporated biometric databases, Germany and Canada need paper votes, while Denmark and Sweden have restrictions on mail-order voting.

“The most distant and continuous executive action taken in Republic history to secure our election.”

The state allegedly failed to comply with federal election requirements by continuing to count the number of barrats collected since election day and implementing inadequate citizenship review process.

Trump's enforcement actions require voters to provide evidence of citizenship before they can vote, and election officials must record details of the provided documents, including the date of publication, expiration date and identification number. It lists acceptable evidence of citizenship documents, such as US passports, military identification cards, and identification formats that meet actual ID requirements.

EO will also add citizenship questions to the federal voting form.

He said that failing to take appropriate measures to protect the election process could cut federal funds.

Trump has directed the Department of Homeland Security to partner with the government's efficiency department and reviewed the public voter registration list for the immigration database. Non-citizens discovered in voter roles will be provided to Attorney General Pam Bondi, and the administration will call on the DOJ to prosecute election crimes.

During Tuesday signatureHomeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller called EO “the most farthest executive action taken in Republic history to secure elections.”

“We believe these are very important steps that we need to take as a government in your direction to ensure that our elections are as safe as possible,” Miller said.

Trump said EO would “go to a long way” to end election fraud, adding that the administration had planned to take additional steps “in the coming weeks.”

“Perhaps some people think we shouldn't complain because we won the landslide, but we have to straighten the election. This country is very sick because of the elections, that is, fake and bad elections. “I'm honored to sign this.”
