Trump Organization Launches ‘Trump Mobile’ Cell Phone Service
The Trump Organization has introduced a new mobile service called “Trump Mobile” as of Monday. This includes a smartphone, priced at $499, and a subscription plan expected to launch later this year.
Trump Mobile will provide 5G connectivity, utilizing the infrastructure of major U.S. carriers. Subscribers can anticipate unlimited talk, text, and data, alongside complete device protection. Additional features include round-the-clock roadside assistance via Drive America, virtual medical consultations, mental health support, simple access to prescription deliveries, and free international calling to over 100 countries, particularly those hosting American military personnel.
The organization highlights its “flagship The 47 Plan,” offered at $47.45 monthly.
This announcement was made by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, the eldest sons of the former president, during an event at Trump Tower in New York City.
“I’m incredibly excited to step into this new digital space. Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that’s affordable and reflects their values. We’re particularly proud to provide free long-distance calling for military personnel and their families, as staying connected is vital,” Eric Trump expressed.
“Trump Mobile aims to change the game. We’re committed to putting America first, providing top-quality service. Our operations are based in the U.S. because we understand what customers want and deserve,” added Donald Trump Jr.
Trump Mobile appears to operate as a mobile virtual network operator, sourcing network capacity from major carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
Additionally, the company revealed the “T1” smartphone—a sleek, gold-colored device that is claimed to be designed and manufactured in the United States.
At the moment, it isn’t clear which company will produce the smartphone at the slated price of $499. Interestingly, the announcement noted that “Trump Mobile, its products, and services are not designed, developed, manufactured, distributed, or sold by The Trump Organization or any of its associated affiliates or principals.”
Users can now switch their plans to Trump Mobile, with the “T1” smartphone expected to be available in August.
