Sunny Hostin told her co-hosts in ABC's “view” on Friday that President Donald Trump's second term was a “existential crisis,” so Democrats must be willing to “fight and die.”
Hostin discussed the 10 Democrats who voted with Republicans to condemn Rep. Al Green (D-TX) (D-TX) during the president's speech. Representative Green gave them an example. The Democrats haven't seen them at that moment. It's very clear that Medicaid is on the table. It's very clear that Social Security is on the table. It is very clear that people will die. Baby Boomers of the Civil Rights Generation – they knew what they had to do. They fought for their rights and were willing to die. This generation of councils, they haven't seen them at that moment. This is an existential crisis. ”
She added: “They should be ashamed of themselves. They should have all gone out with him.”
Co-host Anna Navarro said: This is not the House of Representatives. This is the US Capitol. The problem is that this is not happening in a vacuum. We all remember when Joe Wilson stood up to Barack Obama, gave him a union status and called him a liar. ”
