Trump refutes claims of proposing an offer to Iran and discussing it.

On Monday, President Trump stated that he hadn’t engaged in talks with Iran and asserted that the U.S. had “completely wiped out” the country’s nuclear facilities.

He also criticized reports that his administration is considering whether Iran could receive assistance in developing a nuclear program in exchange for a $30 billion deal to produce civilian energy.

Senator Chris Coons from Delaware pointed out that Trump seems to be pursuing agreements that would ease the sanctions imposed during Barack Obama’s presidency.

“I want to inform Senator Chris Coons that I haven’t offered anything to Iran. Unlike Obama, who provided billions under the misguided ‘path to the JCPOA’—which is about to expire—we’ve eradicated their nuclear installations and are not in talks with them,” Trump declared.

Trump has consistently mentioned that airstrikes targeting three Iranian nuclear sites have dismantled the country’s nuclear capabilities.

“It was destroyed like never before. This has put an end to their nuclear ambitions for a significant period,” he told Fox News recently.

In addition, Trump expressed intentions to confront media outlets, including CNN and the New York Times, after they reported information that contradicted his assertions regarding the effectiveness of the strike on Iran’s nuclear program.

He also hinted at taking actions to determine which reporters disclosed the “low confidence” assessment from the Reserve Defense Bureau, suggesting his strike might have only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months.
