New York Times Report I said The Trump administration is considering the amnesty of the Democratic member of New York Mayor Eric Adams.
Adams has been charged with bribery related to the Turkish government and federal accusations of telegraph fraud. He was discovered that Trump had met with President Donald Trump in his Maragago residence just before Trump took him to the second presidential room.
“Yes, so. I think he was treated pretty unfair,” he said. “I don't know the facts, so I have to see it.”
The Times reported that some people with knowledge of the situation have discussed the possibility of a highly judicial official of the Ministry of Justice, which could stop accusing Manhattan's prosecutor and Adams.
The mayor has been accused of accepting illegal campaigns and gifts from foreigners in exchange for political benefits. Gifts are said to include discounts, free flights and travel. He denied the claim.
Trump had previously expressed his sympathy to the mayor, accused the Biden administration, because Adams opposed the loose immigration policy under the Democratic Party.
“I think he was treated quite unfairly. I haven't seen all the gravity, but it seems to be upgraded many years ago,” said President.
Trump also responded positively when asked if he would consider Adams' pardon.
“Yes, yes. I think he was pretty unfair,” he said. “I don't know the fact, so I have to see it.”
Some speculate that Adams might switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party for seven years in 1995 as a Republican member. Fight.
“We need to leave identification and classify yourself as something other than Americans,” said Adams. “I'm an American. So, no matter what party or voting you, I'm going to promote the values of the United States.”
Adams also overturned his policies about immigrants after previously supported the “sacred cities” policies that were frustrated by the federal government's efforts to detain illegal immigrants to expel the country.
“We are going to protect the rights of immigration in this diligent city and return to the city in a true way,” Adams said in December. “We are not a safe evacuation center for those who have repeatedly committed violent crimes against innocent immigrants, immigrants, and long -standing New Yorkers.”
Some people accused Adams comfortable with Trump to seek pardon.
