On Thursday, President Trump criticized four right-wing commentators regarding the Iran war, labeling them as “reckless workers” and “losers” who are simply looking for attention.
In a detailed statement, Trump reflected on their ongoing conflicts, suggesting, “It’s no surprise that Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones are at odds with me. They seem to think it’s fine for Iran, a top state sponsor of terrorism, to possess nuclear weapons. Their common denominator? A lack of intelligence.”
He further vented, “They’re foolish folks, and deep down, they know it. Their families know it, too!” He criticized their history and emphasized, “They lack what it takes, always have!”
Trump expressed disdain for their careers, remarking, “They’ve been bumped off TV, lost their shows, and are largely ignored now. They resort to odd jobs, stir up trouble, and will say anything for minimal publicity.” He suggested that their critiques aimed at him were merely attempts to gain traction for their “third-rate podcast.”
He added, “No one is paying attention to them, and their views are the exact opposite of what MAGA stands for. If they had been right, I wouldn’t have won the election in a landslide. MAGA voters have given me a 100% approval rating in polls.”
Trump confidently stated, “MAGA aligns with my views—not with someone like Tucker Carlson, who didn’t even finish college. He was a shattered man after being let go from Fox. Maybe he could use a therapist!” He continued disparaging remarks regarding Megyn Kelly and Candace Owens, alluding to past controversial questions and comments they made.
The president went as far as to claim that Brigitte Macron was “far more beautiful” than Candace Owens, remarking that “the comparison isn’t even close!”
In his address, Trump also targeted Alex Jones, referencing comments made by the Infowars host that he believed harmed the families affected by the Sandy Hook shooting. He characterized these critics as “losers.”
He accused mainstream media, including CNN and the New York Times, of unintentionally boosting the profiles of Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and Jones, stating, “They’re not part of MAGA; they’re just trying to cling to it.”
Trump asserted that while he could always engage with these individuals, he preferred to focus on significant global and national issues. He predictably remarked they would end up in undesirable circumstances like a previous congressional figure.
Finally, he stated, “MAGA is about winning and ensuring Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon. It’s about making America great again, and unlike them, I know how to achieve that. After all, America is currently the ‘hottest’ country in the world!”
