Trump says Hunter Biden will no longer get Secret Service protection

President Trump said Monday that two of President Biden's children (Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden) are no longer protected from the Secret Service.

“Immediately, we recommend that Hunter Biden no longer receive Secret Service protections. Similarly, Ashley Biden, with 13 agents, will be removed from the list,” Trump posted to Truth Social.

Trump was asked earlier in the day about Hunter Biden's Secret Service during his trip to South Africa. Trump pointed out that he would move to block protection.

With Monday's announcement, Biden's children will become the latest Trump critics or opponents, losing details of the secret service. This is usually given to individuals facing a confirmed threat to safety.

Trump previously revoked details of protection for former Defense Secretary Mark Esper, former national security adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Dr. Anthony Fauci and former Iranian Brian Hook.
