President-elect Donald Trump said he plans to carry out mass deportations when he returns to the Oval Office. NBC News The initiative is “not about price,” he said.
“It's not about price. It's not. Really, we don't have a choice. People are being killed, people are being killed, drug lords are destroying countries, and now they're destroying those countries. “There's no price tag on not staying here,” Trump said when asked about the cost of the plan.
Before winning the election, President Trump promised to begin the largest mass deportation in U.S. history.
Immigration was the second most important issue for voters, according to a Fox News voter analysis, with Trump winning 88% of voters who ranked immigration as their top issue.

A decisive victory in the 2024 White House election will give him an opportunity to fulfill his promises after taking office next year.
Trump narrowly defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election, won the Electoral College by a landslide, and won states he won in 2016 but lost in 2020, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
The president-elect announced that campaign manager Susie Wiles will serve as his chief of staff.

“Susie is tough, smart, innovative and widely admired and respected,” he said in a statement.
“It is a well-deserved honor to appoint Susie as the first female Chief of Staff in American history,” President Trump said.
Trump has met with various world leaders since his victory earlier this week.

He also met with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
