Former President Trump attacked his Republican opponent Nikki Haley on Saturday, claiming former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is “a little bit” smarter than her.

President Trump addressed an enthusiastic crowd in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday night, just days before the Super Tuesday voting was scheduled.

Earlier Saturday, Trump won Republican races in Idaho, Missouri and Michigan. In the evening, in front of a crowd of his supporters, the former president lamented the media coverage of his own remarks in which he referred to President Biden as “President Obama.”

President Trump claimed he intentionally called Biden “Obama.” She also admitted that she confused Pelosi with Haley, whom she calls a “birdbrain.”

“They’re intentionally confusing names like Birdbrain…you know who Birdbrain is, Nicki, with Nancy Pelosi,” he began.

President Trump added, “I put these in because in my head I can replace them.” “I shouldn’t say this about semi-Republicans, except it has to be said, but I actually think that Ms. Pelosi is probably a little more sensible.”

Haley said in January that Trump was not “mentally fit” to be president after she referred to Pelosi as Haley during a speech.

“President Trump was at a rally last night and asked me multiple times why I didn’t provide security during the Capitol riot and why I didn’t do a better job on January 6th. They kept mentioning me. I wasn’t even participating,” Haley said at a January rally in Keene, New Hampshire.

“They say he was confused, he was talking about something else, he was talking about Nancy Pelosi. He mentioned me multiple times in that scenario.”
