Former President Trump said Wednesday that the Honorable House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is trying to convince “everyone who will listen” that President Biden is “a spiritual giant.”
“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is more cognitively disturbed than Sleepy Crooked Joe. She also suffers from terminal symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS),” Trump said. wrote Truth Social on Wednesday..
“She’s a total nutcase who impeached me twice and lost, and now she’s walking around saying I’m a threat to democracy while barely saying anything,” he added. “No, this is just Radical Left Democrat disinformation and it’s all they’re good at. She’s trying to convince everyone who will listen that Crooked Joe is a great mental guy and in top form, but as we all know, he’s not.”
Biden is facing political headwinds after a disastrous presidential debate with Trump last month, where the president’s performance raised concerns within his party about his age, mental health and whether he can retake the White House in November.
“It’s up to Biden to decide whether or not he runs,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday, amid calls from within her party for him to drop out of the race.
“It’s up to the president to decide whether he wants to run,” Pelosi said on MSNBC, “and we’re all urging him to make that decision, because time is running out.”
“But he’s loved and respected and people want him to make that decision, not me.”
Biden, meanwhile, has made clear his intention to continue campaigning despite a growing number of Democrats calling for him to withdraw.
