MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow said Monday on “The Chris Jansing Report” that former President Donald Trump appeared “old, tired and crazy” in a “dingy” Manhattan courtroom. He said it was impressive.
C0 host Andrea Mitchell said, “Let’s bring in Rachel Maddow, someone who actually saw Donald Trump in court. She’s one of the few people in court today. Rachel, fill in the blank. What was that like?” mosquito?”
Maddow said: “First of all, thank you for having me and thank you to everyone at NBC for making it possible for me to be in the courtroom today.”I know this is a hot ticket. However, it is an honor to be able to cover something as historic as this. As for the atmosphere in the room, the rumors about it being a dingy courtroom are true. It’s not necessarily important in terms of the wheels of justice turning, but it’s nice to see a former president, a man who tried to embody a luxury brand, sitting in what is essentially a high-ceilinged DMV office-like room. It’s impressive. There was a very high police presence, a very tense atmosphere, a very solemn atmosphere. ”
She further added, “I have seen him in person several times in my life. I think he looks thinner than I’ve ever seen him before, and he looks a lot older, and maybe frustrated, resigned, or maybe even angry. He seems like a miserable person to be here. I’m no body language expert. This is just my observation. He looks old, tired, and crazy. I saw.”
