Trump Selling Bibles Is Like the Money Changers Jesus Chased Out

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump’s Bible ads are like the money changers Jesus chased out of the temple. Ta.

Host Dana Bash said, “Donald Trump posts a video in honor of this Holy Week. He encouraged people to buy it for $60. President Trump stood for the Bible, listen to him. please.”

“Every American needs a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book. It’s loved by so many people. I’m proud to support and encourage you to get it. We must make America pray again.”

Bash said, “It says the entity selling the Bible paid to license Trump’s name and image, which means Trump is making money from the sales.” What do you think?

Warnock said, “The Bible doesn’t need Donald Trump’s support, and in the last week of his life, Jesus drove money changers out of the temple who were trying to take sacred objects and use them as cheap relics to sell on the market.” ” he said. The sad thing is that none of us are surprised by this. This is what we expect from our former president. If he’s not selling us stocks, he’s selling us schools that aren’t worth the paper their degrees are written on. If he doesn’t sell to us, the school is selling us sneakers, now he’s trying to sell us scriptures. I think at the end of the day, he’s trying to sell goods securities to the American people. And it worked in 2016, but even in 2016 it didn’t win the popularity vote, but it didn’t work in 2020. I guess it didn’t work. I plan to start working in 2024. ”
