Former President Donald Trump needs to keep the Biden-Harris administration's struggling economy the focus during Tuesday night's debate with Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said in an interview. Breitbart News Daily.
“Every time I talk to him, I tell him to talk about the economy. The most important thing for everybody is self-sufficiency and independence. Everybody wants a job,” Scott told host Mike Slater. “Every time I talk to him, from when he first ran in 2016 to today, I tell him to talk about the economy, because the economy is the most important thing for everybody.”

Scott emphasized that Trump is the only candidate who will hold bad actors accountable and fight to ease the burden on ordinary Americans.
“We are in serious trouble right now. We need big changes. Trump is our only hope,” he said.
“Here's the deal: If you like high inflation, Harris is the guy for you. If you like open borders, if you like drugs and criminals coming in, Harris is the guy for you. If you like failed foreign policy, if you want more funding for Iran, if you want Hamas to do bad things against Israel, Harris is the guy for you,” he said.Now, if you want lower inflation, you want better jobs, you want to avoid war, you want a secure border, you want to stop drugs coming in, Trump is your guy. It's that simple.”
He added that Harris wasn't campaigning to take responsibility for any of the missteps that have taken place under the Biden-Harris administration, noting that “she didn't have a serious proposal” and “was trying to get on the TV news” when they served together on the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
“Do you think anyone's been held responsible for the assassination attempt on Trump? What about the Silicon Valley bank failures? Do you think anyone's been held responsible in the federal government? No one. And for withdrawing from Afghanistan or opening borders? … The Biden administration is not responsible. Ms. Harris has not suggested that it is responsible. No one,” Scott said.
