President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday, establishing employment rates to reduce the size of the federal workforce.
White House documents on orders obtained and reviewed by Breitbart News details implement Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Workforce Optimization Initiative.
The order directs Las Vert Director of the Office of Management and Budget, developing and implementing a plan that allows only one new employee for each of the four employees that most institutions depart.
“After the first day of employment freeze and implementation of the employment plan, agents will be able to hire one employee for every four employees leaving federal services,” News Country.
The official order points out that the government does not “functions related to public safety, immigration enforcement, or law enforcement” are not covered by employment rates.
Additionally, according to White House documents, agencies could forcefully reduce and decide which agents (or the agency itself) are eliminated or combined, as the law does not require functionality. “You are instructed to plan.”
Trump and Kudzi head Elon Musk spoke to news outlets about the newly formed department before Trump signed the order in his oval office.
Trump said Doge has discovered “billions and billions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse.”
“No one was thinking [it] It was a bad thing, it was sick and corrupt,” Trump said.
He was also critical of a judge who said he wanted to “seek corruption” following the Reuters ruling. Note Denied access to the Ministry of Finance's payment system.
“And it seems difficult for a judge to want to stop us looking for corruption.
Musk spoke about the importance of robbing federal officials of power in particular.
“So, without the right feedback loop from people to government… what does democracy actually mean when bureaucracy is in charge?” Musk asked.
“If people are unable to vote and are determined in the form of the President, Senate and House of Representatives by elected representatives, we do not live in democracy. We live in bureaucracy. I'm there,” he added.
Musk said the “feedback loop” must be closed so that decisions are made by the public and elected officials, not bureaucrats.
