Trump Speaks on Mortality and Says Christians Must Vote

In a recent interview with Russian-American podcaster Lex Friedman, former President Donald Trump spoke about his own death and the need for a religious revival in the United States. InterviewIn the Instagram post, posted on Tuesday, the topics ranged from the 2024 presidential election to the Kennedy assassination to UFOs. Towards the end of the conversation, Trump spoke about the inevitability of death, the role religion plays in accepting death, and the possibility of an afterlife.

Trump, who survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, said his “highly successful” friend, who is in his mid-80s, not only thinks about death constantly but also frequently reminds him that time is running out.

“He said, 'I think about it every minute of every day,'” Trump said of his friend's remarks about the death. “Then a week later he called me to tell me something, and the conversation started with, 'Tick-tock, tick-tock.' In a way, he's a dark man, but that's the way it is.”

According to Christian PostTrump also noted the role religion plays in accepting and finding peace with the inevitability of death, and expressed his desire to see America embrace religion as it once did.

“One of the tragedies in life is that it ends,” Fridman says. “How often do you think about your own death? Are you afraid of death?”

“If you think about it, there are already chains tightening around all of us,” he said. “Ultimately, the radical left is coming after all of us because they know our loyalty is not to them. Our loyalty is to our country, to our Creator. They don't want to hear that.”
