WHCA President Eugene Daniels effectively squealed in response, claiming the new protocol was “tears at the independence of the Free Press.”

“The move will make the US free press cry independence and shed tears. The government will choose journalists to cover the president. In free countries, leaders will choose their press squadrons. You should not do it,” he said. I said.

Members of the WHCA cartel have experienced the status of high priests of fair and accurate reporting. And when someone threatens their powers, as someone has recently or a conservative outlet has these days, they assault like an angry teenager.
