Trump strolls on the White House roof, jokes about putting in 'nuclear missiles'

Trump’s Roof Walk and Construction Plans

On Tuesday morning, President Trump was seen walking along the roof of the White House. In a lighthearted moment, he joked about installing a “nuclear missile” in reporters.

He casually mentioned that he was just out for a stroll, giggling as he dramatized the motion of the projectile with his hands.

Trump has already initiated several construction projects at the White House and expressed a desire to do more. This includes a lavish $200 million ballroom for the East Wing, which he aims to finish before he leaves office.

During his walkthrough, the president strolled along the west side of the mansion, right above the press briefing room, exploring areas not planned for the ballroom.

When asked about potential expansions for the West Wing to create more space for staff and reporters, the real estate mogul did not provide any comments.

He asserted, “I’m funding anything I do!”

There’s a possibility that he also checked on the recent renovations of the Rose Garden, which has been modified and sits directly below the West Wing roof.

This initiative aimed to make the garden more user-friendly for women wearing high heels.

Throughout his presidency, Trump has been seen wandering the White House grounds frequently, engaging with construction workers and inspecting project areas.

His recent projects include erecting two 100-foot flagpoles on the north and south lawns, with American flags proudly displayed. He’s also made ornamental changes to the Oval Office, including gold plating on ceilings, fireplaces, and floors.
