Trump suggests he’ll release Jeffrey Epstein ‘client list’ if elected

Former President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that if elected he would have “no problem” releasing further official files on gay predators, including the “client list” of the late Jeffrey Epstein.

Currently appearing “The Rex Friedman Podcast” Trump, 78, insisted he had never visited the notorious private island of the late financier and suspected sex trafficker, where scores of young women and underage girls are allegedly abused, but acknowledged that “a number of famous people” have visited.

“I don't think I'm involved, I mean I'm not involved,” the Republican presidential candidate said when host Rex Friedman suggested he had shown “some hesitation” about releasing documents related to Epstein.

“Luckily, I've never been to his island, but a lot of people have,” Trump continued.

When asked why so many top business executives, politicians and royals are allegedly linked to the billionaire pedophile, the former president claimed Epstein was a “great salesman” and had “great assets to throw around, like an island.”

“But a lot of great people went to that island. Luckily I wasn't one of them,” Trump repeated.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute and was sentenced to 18 months in prison for those charges.

Epstein was arrested again in 2019 and accused of sexually abusing dozens of girls between 2002 and 2005 at a townhouse on Florida's Upper East Side and a seaside mansion in Palm Beach.

The 66-year-old pedophile was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 in what was ruled a suicide. He had faced up to 45 years in prison.

Unreleased court documents filed in January in a 2015 defamation lawsuit by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre against the convicted felon's “madam,” Ghislaine Maxwell, listed dozens of celebrities among more than 170 people with ties to Epstein.

“Yeah, that's very interesting,” Trump responded when Friedman said it was “very strange” that a complete list of Epstein's “clients” who visited Epstein's Caribbean island of Little St. James had not been made public.

“And by the way, it probably will,” Trump added. “I would certainly consider it.”

After saying he wanted to quickly release documents related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy if elected, Trump said he was open to doing the same for Epstein's files.

“But I'm going to do the Epstein thing,” Trump said. “I have no problem with that.”
