President Trump said that the two teams at this year's Super Bowl “embodies the best of the American dream” in a message on Sunday.
“We look forward to joining New Orleans fans with Super Bowl LIX fans and supporting two great teams in Kansas City, the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Tonight, the field coaches, players and team staff represent the best in professional football, but they also embody the best in the American Dream,” Trump said.
The president will be taking part in Sunday's match between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. The kickoff at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans is set at 6:30pm ET, with the Chiefs looking for their third win in three years.
“Soccer is America's most popular sport – for good reason, it fosters a sense of unity in the nation, brings together family, friends and fans, and strengthens our community,” Trump said.
“This annual tradition transcends our differences and shares the patriotic values of family, faith and freedom heroically defended by our military members, law enforcement officers and first responders. We take care of their dedication to protecting their great nations and honor their selfless service.”
Trump also shared his excitement about the Super Bowl two days ago about the true social.
“Two great quarterbacks in this game. Also an incredible running back and an absolute best tight end in football (to date!), the president spoke on social media.
