Chesapeake, Virginia – After debated Biden on Thursday night, former President Trump traveled to Virginia to host a rally before a crowd of several thousand people in a state that hasn’t been won by a Republican presidential candidate since 2004.
Trump was joined by his running mate, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.
Thousands of Trump die-hard fans waited in line for hours in soaring temperatures to catch a glimpse of Biden, the former president and likely next president of the United States. Many of those in attendance tuned into Thursday night’s debate and told Fox News Digital they were not impressed with Biden’s performance.

Anne Sprouse, of Virginia Beach, came into the debate without high expectations but was pleasantly surprised by how the moderator handled the debate.
“I give CNN credit for being honest. I think they were very gracious to Mr. Trump. I think it went really well,” Sprouse said. “Unfortunately, Mr. Biden is not physically able to serve as president. His family should bring him home. I think he should retire and I think Mr. Trump needs to be brought back. I think he needs to make everything great again.”
Edward Young traveled more than 300 miles south from Brick, New Jersey, to hear the former president speak on the debate stage.
“Biden is done. He’s gone,” Young predicted. “Not only can he not be the nominee, he can’t continue as president. I predict he’ll be out of office by the end of the week.”

“They put these restrictions on Trump and he seems perfectly fine with it. They’re angry at him. They can’t understand the way he’s treating New York,” he added.
Kevin Gaudette of Chesapeake, Virginia, echoed Young’s sentiment about Biden’s performance.
Media members shocked by Biden’s ‘terrible’ debate performance: ‘A total disaster’
“It’s unfortunate,” Gaudette said. “The president of the United States [was] “He basically embarrassed himself on the world stage. He stammered every single word he said. Every time he said a number, he picked a new number. I don’t think he knew what he was saying half the time.”
“I think Trump did a great job. He stayed calm. He didn’t waver. He acted really presidentially this time compared to 2016. I voted for him from day one,” he said.

Supporters of all ages, including future voters, gathered at Greenbriar Farm.
Sophia, a 12-year-old from Virginia Beach, Virginia, was at the event with her family and watched some of the exchange between Biden and Trump, and one topic in particular caught her attention, but for all the wrong reasons.
“When they started talking about golf, I thought it was funny,” she said.
As the conversation shifted from drivers and putters to the safety of Americans, Sofia took a more serious tone.

“I like to watch politics,” she said. “I like to watch politics because I want my country to be safe, and I feel like Trump, who has an actual plan, provides much more security than Joe Biden, who is asleep. It’s nice to know that someone is awake and ready to help our country.”
The second and final presidential debate is scheduled for September 10 at 9:00 pm ET and will be hosted by ABC News.
