Trump Team Criticizes Democrats on Election Security

The Trump administration has taken aim at Democrats, arguing that voting security is lacking compared to the safety measures in place for Olive Garden’s never-ending pasta passes.

During a Newsmax appearance, White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson humorously remarked that Olive Garden’s Pasta Pass likely has stricter identification requirements.

“Olive Garden takes Pasta Pass security more seriously than Democrats take election security!” she stated with a chuckle.

Jackson shared her surprise at Olive Garden’s tweet about needing a photo ID for the Permanent Pasta Pass, concluding that it was quite absurd to think a restaurant would care more about security than the Democrats do about elections. The host shared a laugh at this comment.

“Absolutely, President Trump will keep highlighting this. It really underscores how out of touch the Democrats are,” she continued. “Even businesses like Olive Garden can’t seem to advocate for basic policies like this.”

Her remarks sparked a flurry of reactions on social media from those on the left, with some expressing outrage.

“They’re not asking for a passport or a marriage certificate,” noted left-leaning influencer Joan Carducci.

Former Democratic NYC Councilman Justin Brannan quipped, “I’d show my ID at the polls if it came with unlimited breadsticks.”

One critic chimed in, “I’ve never thought of it that way, because unlike Mr. Jackson, I’m not insane.”

Another user sarcastically stated, “I’m curious if Applebee’s has any thoughts on the Constitution.”

Some accused Jackson of relying on online rumors, though it was confirmed that Olive Garden indeed requires photo ID for its pasta passes.

According to Olive Garden, “NeverEnding Pasta Passes are available only to the passholder whose name is printed on the pass. Passes are personal and non-transferable. Passholders must present a valid photo ID with their pass at the time of ordering.”

For those just hearing about the Never Ending Pasta Pass, it seems the opportunity to sign up may have already slipped away—there were only 10,000 passes, and they’ve sold out quickly.
