California Governor Gavin Newsom has an empty theatre around them. Senator Liz Warren dislike Trump’s tariffs pledged to use “using “economic patriotism” and punishing countries that do not follow US environmental and labor standards” at the 2019 White House run.
It’s interesting that Trump’s tariffs “exceed the power of the president,” and that “a Democratic-led nation will have strong legal arguments.”
There are no lawsuits yet. why? To clarify the possibility of a carbon tax on imports, or perhaps to their “big worker friends support tariffs.”
