Gov. Tim Waltz (D-MN) on MSNBC on Tuesday claimed it was scary because he believed President Donald Trump thought the nuclear war was winning.
“Democrats are engaged as you talk about. I agree with you, and there’s so much chaos and a lot of crisis that a lot of people are doing their daily lives and that the shifts we know are there that we don’t feel are. What’s going on in Medicaid or Virginia.
He continued, “I’m going to understand Donald Trump and what’s jumping into his head and he says he’s going to do it. I once again, he talked about tariffs.
“It’s scary to fear he’s been talking about nuclear war in the past about winning the nuclear war, he’s talking about tariffs and you think it’s a scary look he’s talking about. If he says that, he’s going to do it.”
