President Trump announced that he would soon remove several members of the Kennedy Center board and set up himself as chairman.

Trump, 78, has set up a new committee in support of his “golden age of art and culture” and previously hosted the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington. He said he would blow up children who “target” it.

“If anything, I'm a bit sad. But I know this is the right time.”

During his first stint as president, Trump was in the habit of skipping the award ceremony for the star-studded Kennedy Center Honorary Award.
