Former President Donald Trump said at a Fox News rally in Pennsylvania on Wednesday night that he was the “toughest” on Russia and that several global conflicts would not have happened under his leadership.
“I was the toughest on Russia. Putin even said, 'If you're not the toughest, you're killing us,'” Trump told Sean Hannity while talking about his actions against the Nord Stream pipeline. “If you were really tough, I don't want to meet with you.”
“This was their biggest job ever, but I shut it down.”
Trump continued: “Right now, things are happening in the world with Israel and the Middle East, and they're exploding. They're exploding. You have Ukraine and Russia. That would never have happened. October 7th would never have happened. If I was president, that would never have happened. And everybody knows that.”

Trump also said the “whole world” had been safe during his presidency.
“That's a question they asked Viktor Orban, who is considered a very strong man, and they said, 'He's a strong man,'” Trump said. “Sometimes you need a strong man. And he's a strong man. He's the prime minister of Hungary.”
“And he said, 'Everybody, bring Trump back.' Now I'm not saying this. He said it more respectfully. But he said everybody is afraid of Trump. Bring him back and nothing will matter. Everything will go away. The world will explode.”
