Trump urged to deliver a final warning to Iran as protests turn deadly

Keene Calls for Action Against Iran’s Leadership

Retired General Jack Keene is urging the Trump administration to take decisive action against Iran’s government, specifically targeting leaders involved in the violent suppression of protests. He issued a stern warning on Saturday’s “Life, Liberty and Levin,” noting that the Iranian authorities have already killed over 40 individuals and imprisoned many others, who may face execution in custody.

As nationwide protests persist into their second week, Keene argues that President Trump should deliver a final warning. It seems, perhaps, that decisive action is needed against those who continue to enforce a brutal regime over the people of Iran.

Keene emphasized, “I think the president could issue another warning and remove some of the leaders responsible for acts of violence against the Iranian people.” He believes in the possibility of curbing such behavior through U.S. action.

Reports from multiple Israeli sources indicate that the Trump administration is considering military intervention as a potential course of action.

During this time, President Trump took to Truth Social to express his support for the protesters, stating, “Iran wants freedom more than perhaps ever before. America stands ready to help!!!” He also warned in a recent press conference that the U.S. would respond strongly if the Iranian regime escalates violence against demonstrators.

Keene, highlighting the president’s commitment to the Iranian people, remarked that Trump is the first U.S. president to publicly support the protestors. “This president has done it, so he probably needs to see it through,” he added.

Retired Navy Vice Admiral Robert Harward echoed these sentiments on “Fox & Friends Weekend,” suggesting that regime change in Iran is inevitable, asserting that Trump will follow through on his commitments, having demonstrated resolve in similar situations elsewhere.

He concluded by reflecting on Iran’s past as a prosperous nation, stating a belief that the country could regain its former values and support from the West in the coming decades.
