President-elect Donald Trump has urged Florida Sen. Randy Fine to run for Congress, promising to support the Sunshine State lawmaker if she chooses to step into the ring.
“I'm hearing that America First Patriot's Randy Fine is considering launching a Congressional campaign in Florida's 6th Congressional District!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. Ta.
“Randy Fine has my full support if he decides to run in this race. Run, Randy, run!” Trump urged.

In a post on X, Fine shared a screenshot of Trump's Truth Social posts and said he was honored to help implement Trump's policies.
“Mr. President, I saved you that day at Butler so you could save the world. It would be the honor of my life to be one of your foot soldiers. Your trust in me is overwhelming. I'll let you know soon!'' posted a fine.

Earlier this month, President Trump nominated fellow Florida Rep. Mike Walz (R-Fla.) to be national security adviser.
Walz was just re-elected to Congress this month.
A special election will be held to fill the vacancy after he leaves Congress to take a new role in the Trump administration.
