Trump Urges GOP to Support a Major Comprehensive Bill

Trump’s Call for Legislative Action

Donald Trump reached out to Congressional Republicans, urging them to deliver “a big, beautiful bill” to him by July 4th.

“I’m asking all my Republican friends in the Senate and House to expedite this bill,” he stated, emphasizing the need for urgency.

He further noted that this legislation presents a historic chance to revitalize the nation after what he described as four difficult years under Joe Biden. He advocates for substantial budget cuts and tax reductions, aiming to allow Americans to retain more of their earnings. He mentioned promoting national energy independence and replenishing the strategic oil reserves. Additionally, the bill suggests improvements to the air traffic control system, enhancing American air travel.

Trump highlighted border security measures, including building barriers and increasing deportations for criminal offenses, while also asserting that millions of undocumented immigrants would be removed from Medicaid. His plan, he argued, would ensure benefits were exclusively available to Americans. He criticized Biden’s electric vehicle mandates, claiming they limited consumer choices, and vowed to eliminate tax credits that he described as fraudulent.

He expressed concern over funding for medical procedures related to minors and reiterated his urgency for swift action from Republicans. “Let’s get this bill to my desk before July 4th. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he concluded.

Trump also contended that many claims regarding the bill are misleading. “There won’t be any cuts to Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid. Instead, these programs will be preserved and improved,” he asserted.

“Despite the numerous misconceptions surrounding my proposed ‘big, beautiful bill,’ it’s the most significant spending cut in history. And there are no reductions to social security or health care programs,” he reiterated. Trump criticized Democrats for what he sees as their political failures, suggesting they are resorting to desperate tactics to regain public trust.

He maintained that any cuts would only address waste, fraud, and abuse, noting that these changes should have been prioritized by Democrats in previous years.

“Let’s get to work!” he urged.
