Trump Urges Microsoft to Dismiss Biden's Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco

Trump Calls for Microsoft’s Actions Against Monaco

Former President Donald Trump has urged Microsoft to “quickly close” its ties with Lisa Monaco, the former Assistant Attorney General. In a post on a social platform, Trump criticized Monaco, deeming her “corrupted and totally Trump crazy.” He claims she was behind “the worst deepest state plot to date” during the Biden administration, particularly implicating both President Biden and former Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Trump mentioned that during his administration, Monaco had all her security clearances revoked and was denied access to national security information. He expressed serious concerns over her recent appointment to a senior position at Microsoft, which gives her access to sensitive information. “It is unacceptable that Monaco has such access and cannot bear it,” he stated.

Additionally, Trump highlighted that Monaco poses a threat to U.S. national security, particularly since Microsoft has significant contracts with the government. He noted that due to various issues associated with Monaco, the U.S. government had previously revoked her security clearance, access to classified information, and barred her from federal properties.

“In my opinion, Microsoft should immediately terminate Lisa Monaco’s employment,” Trump remarked.

A presidential memorandum from March 2025 indicated that the Trump administration had rescinded security clearances and access to confidential information for several individuals, including Monaco, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Vice President Kamala Harris, and other Biden family members.

In a January 2024 interview, Trump commented that Monaco was effectively the one “pulling the strings” at the Department of Justice. He described her role as “malicious and illegal,” anticipating that this would come to light in the following years.
