President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday released his official inaugural portrait with a villainous look that has been compared to his 2023 headshot.
The portrait shows the soon-to-be commander-in-chief looking coldly into the camera with a furrowed brow.
The striking pose, in which President Trump leans slightly forward, quickly drew comparisons to the mug shot from the hush-money scandal.
In contrast, Trump's 2016 portrait shows him smiling warmly in front of an American flag.
Vice President-elect J.D. Vance also released a portrait of himself wearing a blue suit, smiling slightly and arms crossed over his chest.
