During this week's broadcast of FOX News Channel's “Sunday Morning Futures,” Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump dismissed President Joe Biden's claims that a “peaceful Election Day” will not happen.
Rather, President Trump warned of “the enemy from within.” He told FNC host Maria Bartiromo that they were “radical left-wing lunatics” that the National Guard could handle.
“What do you expect?” Bartiromo asked. “Joe Biden said he doesn't think today will be a peaceful voting day.”
Trump responded: “To be fair, he has no idea what's going on.” “He spends most of his day sleeping. The bigger problem is not the people who are coming in to destroy our country, but the enemy from within, who is destroying our country completely.” I think it's happening. Towns and villages are flooded. But I don't think that's the problem in terms of voting day.”
“I think the bigger problem is the people inside,” he continued. “We have some very bad people. We have sick people and radical left-wing lunatics. And I think they can be very easily protected by the National Guard if necessary, or by the military if it's really necessary. I think it should be addressed because they can't tolerate it.”
