Donald Trump has officially entered the race for Senate Republican leadership.
President Trump said, “Republican senators seeking coveted leadership positions in the U.S. Senate must agree to recess appointments (in the Senate) or receive timely confirmation. “I won't be able to do that.”

Republican senators seeking coveted leadership positions in the U.S. Senate must agree to recess appointments (in the Senate!). Without this, you won't be able to get approval in a timely manner. In some cases, voting can take more than two years. This is what they did 4 years ago and we can't let it happen again. We need to fill the position immediately. Additionally, no judges should be confirmed during this period, as Democrats are looking to overwhelm judges as Republicans fight for leadership. This is unacceptable. thank you!
