Whoopi Goldberg told her co-hosts on ABC's “The View” on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is going to make “all journalists” and “gay people” “disappear.”
“Watch out for the media,” Goldberg said. “This voting bloc has a lot of issues they want to address. They do, and they have every right to demand it, no matter who the candidate is.” Yes. But I say this until it's time to go vote, be careful that the media tells you what we're doing. Only you know what you're doing. . You know what makes you upset, so you'll talk about it when you go to vote. Now, there are a lot of things you want candidates to talk about, whether they're on the left or the right. There is. We hope they will talk about things that are important to us.”
She further added: That's what this country is all about. I want them to think positively and work towards it. Everyone wants to be able to say how they feel, what they want, to move forward or if you don't. Or do you want someone who says, “I'll be a dictator from day one.” Who says that to you, tells you this. I'm going to take all the journalists, I'm going to take all the gay people, I'm going to move you around and I'm going to erase you. If that's the country you want, you know who to vote for. If that's not the country you want, you have to make a decision. ”
