Trump Wins Arizona Sweeping All Swing States, Secures 312 Electoral Votes

President-elect Donald Trump officially won Arizona, winning 312 electoral votes and winning all seven battleground states.

On Saturday night, the election in Arizona was announced, increasing Trump's electoral votes by 11 to bring his total to 312. Vice President Kamala Harris currently has just 227 electoral votes.

Trump's support in Arizona ends a battle in the battleground state in the 2024 presidential election. The president-elect also won electoral votes in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

In 2020, President Joe Biden won Arizona by less than half of 1%. Before that, Republicans had won the state every year since 1996.

Arizona has a higher percentage of Hispanic voters than the national average. In the last election, they supported Mr. Biden by a margin of 19 points, but as the election approached, there were signs that some supporters were leaning toward Mr. Trump.

The state also voted to elect a new senator after Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) decided not to run for re-election this year. Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), a former Marine who represents three states in Arizona.rd In the House district, she won the seat by defeating former television news host Kari Lake (R-Ariz.).
