Trump’s conviction is an example of how to ‘rig a trial’

The guilty verdict in Donald Trump’s hush money trial has been celebrated all week by left-wing politicians and the media.

The New York Times joined in, running the headline “Trump Found Guilty on All Charges, Becoming America’s First Felon President,” and Joe Biden also gleefully began calling his opponent a felon.

Stu Bruguiere I think the headline “conveys two possibilities.”

“Trump is worse than any president we’ve ever had. That’s one way of looking at this headline. Another way of looking at this headline is that no political party in the 200-year history of this great country has ever tried to do this to their opponent,” Stu says.

“The rules were in place to ensure that Donald Trump did not get a fair trial,” he continued, adding that “the trial itself was rigged.”

“This was a misdemeanor that was past the statute of limitations, so that was it,” he added. “They went after all the little technicalities to try to turn this into a past-statute of limitations felony and get it to be charged with another felony.”

“That in itself is really crazy,” Stu says. “This is how they call it ‘rigging the court.'”

“After all of this is done, the jury will be told that not only do they not have to convict him of any other felonies, they don’t even have to know which ones they are. We’ll give them a few options, and if they can agree on which one is right, that’s fine,” Stu continues.

“That’s like me calling my workplace and saying, ‘I can’t come to work because I have the flu, cancer or leprosy. Pick one.'”
