Trump’s Enforcing Immigration Law in Schools, Churches, Hospitals Where There Aren’t Criminals

In an interview aired on Friday's “Issue IS,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta (d) believes that violent offenders should be held responsible, regardless of their status as immigrants. As I said, President Donald Trump intends to enforce immigration laws. In schools where students learn, in churches, faithful prayers, in hospitals, in schools where our patients are cured. They are not criminals. ”

“On immigration issues, the Trump administration says their main focus is driving away violent criminals who are illegal here. What's that about, and law enforcement agencies. But isn't that a good thing?”

Bonta replied, “[O]nThe person who committed the crime, regardless of the circumstances of your immigration, you should be arrested and charged, whether you have been documented, whether you have not yet been documented Please, whether you exist legally or not, you should be accountable. And that is the purpose of the sanctuary status, focusing on people who break the law, commit crimes, deploy resources towards it rather than enforcement of citizen immigrants. These deportation procedures, they are not crimes, they are citizens. So we want to focus on holding crimes and criminals accountable regardless of your immigrant status. Trump said it was his rhetoric, that was his pitch, and that was his sales pitch, where he focuses on immigration – illegal immigrants who are criminals. What did he do? He attacked birthright citizenship on the first day. They are citizens, American citizens, not criminals, not illegal immigrants, but citizens. He's trying to get rid of your right. ”

Bonta continued. So now he will be running at school. In school, students pray faithfully in the church, in the hospital, and in the hospital, and patients are cured. They are not criminals. …and he chases after those seeking refugee programs that have fled persecution, those seeking refugee here, those who have fled violence, and often tasted the interests of America overseas, and also undermine those programs. So he's not doing what he says, and that's a problem and is accountable by retaining criminals regardless of their immigrant status. ”
