Trump’s inaugural address: Letters

Issue: President Trump's Inauguration speech at the Capitol on Monday.

Some experts criticized President Trump's inaugural address as inappropriate and disgusting. Because President Trump lashed out at the president's tenure, even as former President Joe Biden sat there and forced himself to listen (“Inauguration Day,” January 21).

Under normal circumstances, this speech could be considered outrageous.

But no candidate in my memory has been as maligned from all sides as Trump.

President Trump cited the government's weaponization of the attack against him.

Was he wrong?

I'm afraid not.

He was right to lay out each and every policy failure of the Biden era.

I gave every word he said a pass.

I have never seen an oath as organized as President Trump's second oath.

It was done in good taste and was very important for the world to see.

Mr. Trump showed great respect for the outgoing administration and said what he had to say respectfully and politely.

May God bless him and keep him safe to begin a new era of peace and prosperity.

Mr. Trump’s definition of “peacebuilder” and “unifier” is very different from my definition.

I find it difficult, if not impossible, to believe that taking back the Panama Canal would be the act of a “peacemaker,” especially when the threat of force is implied. Masu.

In what world is it considered “unifying” when entire groups of people, including immigrants and transgender Americans, are ostracized?

Trump's second inaugural address was hypocritical at best and un-American at worst.

But then again, what else would you expect?

The word “liberation'' fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the inauguration ceremony.

It suggested restoring our nation's values and priorities and eliminating Biden's actions that strangle our nation.

I'm glad that people at all levels of society, including judges, teachers, and law enforcement, can no longer live in fear of job loss and public censure for opposing Biden policies.

Additionally, our nation's news organizations will return to a focus on journalistic integrity and fact-based news rather than arbitrary news.

President Trump's inauguration is the most ridiculous example of Washington, D.C.'s tendency to waste money on itself.

What was supposed to be simple, quick and business-like ended up looking like a Hollywood awards ceremony. This perfectly illustrates how elites believe they are better than other people.

This is not a good start for Trump.

It also portends negative consequences for the coming years.

We should be prepared for disappointment.

Americans have made it clear that they reject identity politics and the woke culture wars waged by the left in recent years.

They reject censorship, the weaponization of the justice system, and the government's failure to enforce the law and protect its citizens.

They reject DEI and reject attempts to end our greatest strength: equity.

I will be the first to admit that I was losing hope and faith in America.

Now we know we are lost, but we are strong again.

When President Trump took the oath of office at the Capitol on January 20th at 12:01 p.m., a huge weight was lifted from the shoulders of the American people.

I felt joy, happiness, and relief to finally be free from the failed Biden administration that has forced Americans to suffer for four years.

President Trump's uplifting and unifying speech certainly made Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris uncomfortable for the first 10 minutes.

We hope to return to a safe and prosperous United States of America as soon as possible.

After four disastrous years under former President Biden, we have certainly earned it.
